Specified Educational & General Trading (Pty) Ltd (SEGT) was established in February 2020 to meet the demand for quality Educational Resources and Teacher Development, that meets the curricular requirements of education in South Africa.
As a Level 1 BBBEE contributor, we offer products that are 65% locally manufactured by LASEC SA, who are ISO certified, which aims to promote much-needed growth to our local economy.

Since 2013, we have overseen the roll-out of resources and teacher training, all part of corporates SED spend to more than 250 schools, these proper and better-resourced science laboratories positively impacted approximately 250,000 learners.
